We have a beach base at the south end of Tynemouth Longsands. You will find us just along from Crusoe’s beach café. We hold regular Sunday morning sessions for most of the year and on a Wednesday evening during the summer months. Our destination depends on the tide, the weather, the capabilities of the paddlers involved and availability of coaches. We sometimes paddle south to Tynemouth Pier, north to Cullercoats or Brown’s Bays or stay on our usual spot on the beach, kayaking in the waves! Paddling on the sea gives us the chance to really appreciate the beautiful coast line we have at Tynemouth.
Parents of junior members aged 7-12 must be present on all beach and river trips.
